We officially became a 501c3 on May 11, 2023 and we are so thankful. We decided to name this little sanctuary Anam Cara as it has deep meaning for us. Anam Cara is Gaelic meaning "soul friend, guide, and/or teacher". We believe each and every one of the animals that live at our farm is connected to our souls. As we provide safety for healing and health, they teach us the power of trust, perseverance, and patience.
Sean gave me an Anam Cara Celtic symbol etched on a necklace charm when we were newly married and it defines our marriage.
We have been teaching yoga, meditation, and sound therapy as a means to fund our animals ongoing expenses.
This fall please join us at one of our weekly ongoing sessions beginning Mid October!

Tuesday morning at 8am- East Haddam Town Hall Gymnasium (60 minute gentle flow yoga)
Wednesday morning at 9am- Twisted Dog Yoga in Colchester (60 minute meditative yoga)
Friday Evening at 6:30pm at St. Stephens Episcopalian Church in East haddam. (60 minutes with 30 minutes of yoga followed by a 30 minute sound meditation).
